Trading is the sharing of live
music recordings amongst fans, for no commercial gain. It is the
exchange of CD-quality recordings, in CD Audio format or in a
lossless compression format (not mp3), on recordable
CDs (CD-Rs). Though the internet is used to arrange trades, by
e-mail, the recordings themselves are exchanged offline using the
standard postal system.
We have 2,734 shows listed (over 4,755 CDs).
We are open to try almost any kind of
music so send an e-mail and let's see what works out. At the
present time we are particularly interested in expanding our "blues
collection" so if you've got some shows, let us know. We love all
kinds of music.
We always up for a trade and always looking for new bands/music to
listen to as well as expand our collection of old
favorites.
We always burn DAO. We aren't concerned with the
source, but do like to know as much about the venue as possible.
Some expectations for trading:
1. Be honest and communicate.
2. Use name brand CD-R's, I Use Tdk, Sony, Fuji, and Maxell
3. Use bubble mailers and sleeve the discs individually
4. Please don't write on the discs, a slip of paper is fine, but please give
some indication who the band is and the date of the show.
